PUBLIC USE OF BOSTWICK
LAKE IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS:
1.
Fires must be confined to fireplaces or approved stoves,
and shall not be left unwatched.
2. Wood
may not be gathered from the surrounding wooded area.
3.
Furniture or equipment may not be removed
from buildings, or from one facility or location to
another
one.
4. A
permit is required for use of any overnight facility and
vehicles and equipment in violation of this rule
are subject to removal at owner's
expense.
5. In
order to insure compliance with sanitation and safety
standards, the Superintendent reserves the
right to limit the number of
persons and equipment occupying a facility.
6. If
facility is not vacated by time specified, another fee -
equal to the entire charge for another full night -
must be paid.
7.
It is unlawful to cut, injure, mutilate
or remove any plant, tree or shrub, or to damage any
structure,
property or equipment.
8. Visitors
are liable for any damage they may cause to the
property.
9.
Trash must be placed in the refuse
containers provided.
10. There
must be no indecent exposure of person, use of obscene
language, or conduct which is unduly
annoying to others.
11. The
posting of signs, distribution of advertising,
soliciting, selling or attempting to sell, and
commercial
enterprise are forbidden without prior
written permission from the Bostwick Lake Commissioner.
12. The
Bostwick Lake Commission is not liable for any injury or
damage to person or property.
13. Right
is reserved to not make any refund if permittee should
decide to vacate the facility prior to end of
period under permit.
14. The
use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on all areas.
15. Any
motorized vehicle which does not require licensing by
the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles
may no be operated on these lands and/or
waters unless specific authority is given by the
Superintendent; said authority to include
designated hours and specific locations.
16. Permits
may be revoked by the Superintendent in charge if, in
his opinion, the welfare of the area
requires such action, or if any
regulation has been violated. There will be no refund
for a revoked
permit.
17. Excessive noise between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and
6:00 a.m. is prohibited.
18. Visitors
to campsites must leave area by 10:00 p.m.
19. No
gas motors are permitted on lake.
20. Positively
no hunting on said premises.
State Police may arrest, without warrant, any person in
the act of violating any law or regulation
pertaining to these properties. Violators are
subject to fines and court costs. |
