In April 2014, the Counties of Camden,
Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem initiated a project to update a four
county Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plans through FEMA
(Federal Emergency Management Agency). A
website has been created specifically for the development of this
Mitigation Plan which will be used for multiple purposes including:
·
Public Information – The website contains general project background
information and will also be used later in the project to provide
updates on work-in-progress and public access to draft documents for
review. This link should be added to your community's website to
provide public access to the most current information on the project.
·
County Planning Committees and Municipal Working Groups – The website
will be used to provide documents to committees and working groups for
their use and review.
The website can be accessed at http://nj4hmp.com.
Please visit the site at your earliest convenience. If you click on
your county, you will see a map of your county with each municipality
delineated. Click on your municipality and you will have access to
documents relating specifically to your community.
